jonlevine
I am experiencing this issue and have been trying desperately to find this updated AMD_Enabler patch. Unfortunately, every websearch, torrent search, search of every dog house, hen house, out house, and road house leads to a dead end. I would be eternally grateful if somone could send me the needed file or, at the very least, point me in some direction as to where I might find it. Thanks a million. colby
I've tried the new AMD_enabler patch twice now, and it had the same bad effect both times. It stops my desktop from loading. After I log in, the screen just stops with the default login background. It doesn't seem to load finder. I get no wallpaper, icons, dock, or anything. Just an empty screen. The mouse still works, though. Anyone know a way to fix this that doesn't involve re-installing? I'm using 10.4.5 both times. First was the standard myzar (sp?) patched install, second time was with that install image with the SATA enabler update patch and the SSE3 only kernel. Help?
