norcalrivercat Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 If you're using Kalyway install, and you're getting the "still waiting for root device error" I have two suggestions. 1. (possibly easier) Try using external dvd drive, easy to try, may possibly work. If you do not have one, move to step two. 2. Get Zephyroth, I had the same error with Kalyway, Zephyroth installed great. I did a lot of troubleshooting so feel free to leave a message if you have questions.
