NegativeFPS
Hey, I can't get my internet to work right. I have a Yukon internet card and it sort of works, but it takes about 5 minutes for any web page to load, and it's downloading at 7.5 kb/sec instead of the usual 315kb. In console, I am bombarded with this error exactly every two seconds: 5/20/08 9:14:20 PM kernel AppleYukon2: 00000000,00000000 sk98osx_dnet - recovering from missed interrupt I don't know what to do anymore Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/106028-yukon-slow-connection-millions-of-sk98osx_dnet-errors/ Share on other sites
Memorial
What card and how did you set up the drivers? It looks like you edited ApplyYukon2.kext, you can try editing AppleYukon.kext and see if that helps. USHERJZ
hi, new here I also get that error, i really need a stable forcedeth.kext but cannot find any... found a replacement appleyukon which is meant to fix this but it is uploaded on rapidshare - which has been shutdown On board ethernet ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE, i have the marvell yukon drivers but as explained above isnt exactly working. I did use the nvidia Gbit onboard but that was using forcedeth and constantly crashing so got told to delete... fixed the crashing problems but now network only works in yukon Cheers in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/106028-yukon-slow-connection-millions-of-sk98osx_dnet-errors/#findComment-753824 Share on other sites

I get crashes with my forcedeth as well whenever I try downloading anything. Our yukon is 88E8053 I don't have appleyukon, only appleyukon2, in IONetworking (or whatever it's called) I did edit it, but that's after the problem started occuring, I tried restoring the default IONetworking as well with no luck. NegativeFPS
By the way, did you by chance use the "Apple Time Machine Fix" file from this forum? It seems that that's what triggered it for me, since it replaces IONetworkingfamily (which also replaces the original AppleYukon2.kext I'm trying my best to find ways to fix it but never get it to work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/106028-yukon-slow-connection-millions-of-sk98osx_dnet-errors/#findComment-754518 Share on other sites
Memorial
Look into AppleYukon.kext, look into the info.plist. Check that your card is there and that you have the right DeviceID/VendorID it should look like <string>0x435311ab</string> (this is for 88E8039). You can get the DeviceID/VendorID of you card from windows, or linux. Or you could try searching the forum for it. It might be <string>0x436311AB</string>, but I am not sure. Look in the form for the Yukon threads.
