nosushi4you
Hello, I recently tried installing Leopard on my PC, but was unable to due to my Intel 82865g not being compatible. I've been doing some more research, and have come across these two pages: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCLPart http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...10.4.6/Desktops It says there that Tiger works with the Intel 82865g Graphics Controller. Can anyone verify that for me? I would really like to get OSx86 on my PC. Hopefully Tiger will work. Thanks for any help you are able to give. Hagar
Generally, the 865 is too old to be supported. you may get VESA graphics if you are lucky, which will allow you to browse & pewrform basic tasks, but not watch video, or platy games or anything else that requires proper drivers. nosushi4you
Thank you for your help. I've read that 10.4.1 has the drivers that I need. I'm considering installing it, but will it include QE? I'll be getting a new video card soon, but I'd like to get OS X on my PC as soon as possible.
