jst68
I am using an Acer Aspire 1710 for my installation. It uses Broadcom for wireless and ethernet. I already got wireless to work with a solution posted on this forum, but I am having difficulties with my ethernet. My device ID is: PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_169C&SUBSYS_00451025&REV_03\4&3A321F38&0&00F0 Thanks, JST Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10596-broadcom-netxtreme-gigabit-ethernet-card/ Share on other sites
jst68
Hmmm, I guess nobody else is using the same hardware or got it to work? I am also wondering if Windows always reports the right IDs. Is there a place where I can see "Found Hardware" in OS X? Thanks, JST Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10596-broadcom-netxtreme-gigabit-ethernet-card/#findComment-67275 Share on other sites
thesog
I've got an onboard Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet and it doesn't work for me. I had to throw in an Intel Gigabit card for networking.
