harper
Hey, I previously installed 10.4.1.1 (?) onto my notebook. It booted, but I had to specify 'x86pc' at every boot and I had no sound, widescreen or wireless networking. Anyway, I formatted and went back to Windows. I would like to try again, is there an install DVD which will install straight to 10.4.5, or do I need to go from *.3 to *.4 then to *.5? I have a Turion64 with SSE3 so would like to use SSE3 obviously. My wireless card is integrated into the notebook, I have a 'Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter' according to Device manager. My graphics chip is 'SiS M760' --- last time got to res of 1024x768. No widescreen 1280x800. SiS 760GX chipset. Anybody know anything of that hardware, sorry for such a broad question, and best solution for an install DVD. TIA!
