gadgeteer Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 hi all. i managed to installi ATKOS_v1.0i.iso on a partition on my HP Pavilion DV6560US. the problem happened when i rebooted after the successful installation. with the DVd removed, the pc started booting into Mac OS. when it reached the screen with the grey apple and turning wheel, it was booting up for a while then it just froze. i've had this happen to me at the same point even after 5 reinstallation attempts. Question is, would the iATKOS_1.0i_to_1.0ir2 and the EqUaTe's+iATKOS+Patch patches work to solve this issue? One more thing, can someone provide a clear step-by-step guide in patching? i havent the slightest idea how to view the md5. all i know is how to burn the iso into a disk. i hope someone can help. marliwahoo Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 iATKOS_v1 is NOT the best version for noobs (for several reasons). Try Kalyway 10.5.2 - your problems will probably be solved.
