OK, I have successfully put Kalyway on a specially built tower. It runs Excellent. But, I had to downgrade from 4 gigs to 2 gigs because it only worked on bios 1.3 , not the current 2.7. :-(

I decided to build another that was more powerful. I had 6 gigs on it. I went to the compatibility list for 10.5.2 and picked a mother board that seemed to work with very full patches. It was an MSI 975X Platinum PowerUP. I thought I had it made. When it came in and I put it together, I have tried all of my 51 downloaded DVDS and cDS. ALL of them gave me the same error message "apple.boot.plist" not found. Or something like that. I read the forum and they suggested that I try a SATA2 DVD instead of IDE. OK, so I have one of those coming tomorrow. I have also gotten the iaktos dvd, about the only one that I do not own.

Now, for my second problem. I have an HP DV6000 AMD laptop. If I type in: /sbin/ fsck -fy and /sbin/mount uw/ after using the flags -x -s -f -legacy cpus=1, I can get into leopard and everything works fine. But, if I just bootup, it gives me the same plist error. Is there a way that I can get it to boot straight up??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks again
