How to update 10.4.3, Getting your battery to display and Getting your widescreen to work.

Hi,

I have 10.4.3 installed on my Dell 6000 laptop, Installation went fine, installing apps worked fine. However time to time when I launch an app it freezes. Im using the F11111 version not Jas's version. If I update to 10.4.4 or 10.4.5 would that fix the problem.

Another thing, how do I backup my image that I have done so far? Tried looking around to no joy.

Battery indicators, as Im using a laptop I have tried getting the battery to work to no avail. Tried looking at the current forums nothing is working. Is there someone I can do in the Apple.boot.plist?

Using the dells widescreen is annoying as everything is stretched. This is what Im using at the moment.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

<key>Kernel</key>

<string>mach_kernel</string>

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>"Graphics Mode"="1680x1050×16@60"</string>

<key>Boot Graphics</key>

<string>Yes</string>

<Key>Graphics Mode</Key>

<String>1680x1050x16@60</String>

</dict>

</plist>

As you can see I have done the right things, however its improved the resolution to 1280 x 1024 but its still stretched.

Cheers if you help.
