NemesysSRT Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Well I've got 10.4.3 working great and I'm fighting here to get 10.4.4 loaded. I have followed Maxxuss's instructions perfectly but am having one problem. After it finishes installation it drops to a blue screen for about 20 seconds. Then it drops to a darwin login in prompt for about three seconds. It returns a login error, and returns to the blue screen with the spinny thing, where it sits. I let it chill for about an hour just to make sure it wasn't doing anything, then reset the computer. At the very begining of the boot process, I get an MBR Error. The first partition on the HD is NTFS (XP), the second partition (HFS) is what I am installing 10.4.4 to, the third and final partition (HFS) is 10.4.3. All are primary. So I set the 10.4.3 partition acitve again, reboot, and finish the install process as per instructions. Bless the new partition and reboot, again I get the same MBR error. I have tried the installation three times now from scratch with the same results each and every time. I'm at a loss now. As I said before, I followed the Maxxuss instructions perfectly.
