I've installed leo4all v3.

Everything worked ok.

But when i try to install nvidia drivers (tried to select nvidia drivers during install, also tried NVInstallerV.41 )

after reboot I have a black screen with cursor at upper left corner.

Booting at safe mode (-x) seems ok. It gives possibility to even change resolution to 1280x1024Mac

Here is my hardware specs:

Intel® Core2 CPU 6600 @

2.4 Ghz

cores: 2

memory: 2 GB OCZ

Boot ROM: Hack.88Z.int.0sh.061193037 (Award Software International, Inc.)

Videocard: Palit Nvidia NV6600GT 256Mb

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3

HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 500gb SATA

Please help!

How is your display connected? VGA or DVI? I know for me I had VGA on boot but not DVI (black screen) until I changed the NVCAP to match my graphics card and then I got DVI.

Sounds like that could be your problem as some people in the topic I got help about DVI for my card said they had successes in safe mode. I had a Nvidia 8400GS by XFX.

But there is no Core image and Quartz Extreme support ^_^((

PCIe Lane Width: x16

VRAM (Total): 128 MB

Device ID: 0x0140

Revision ID: 0x00a2

Displays:

SyncMaster:

Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz

Depth: 32-bit Color

Core Image: Software

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

Display Connector:

-----------------------------------------

I need help, enabling CI and QE.

Guys, please teach a noob :P

p.s. I already edited device IDs in relevant kexts. but it did not help to solve this.

p.p.s UltimateKylie, i checked with both dvi and vga earlier - no success.
