sweatyfish
The other day I ordered a BOXD975XBX2KR motherboard. I understand that this is one of the most compatible motherboards. Right now I have the Kalyway 10.5.2 disc on hand. I am using Leo right now on my current mobo using the Sleep Kernel. I ordered the new motherboard because I want the complete, most realistic experience (EFI and Vanilla Kernal) I have searched hi and low for answers for my questions on these forums for a few days, so please bear with me. I read the tutorials about how to set up Leopard for my motherboard. The confusing part is that they seem to be a little outdated. They still refer to Kalyway 10.5.1 and BrazilMac. Is EFI (not emulated) included in this DVD? Or would I have to still do the insane amount of work as describe in the tutorials? (format drive "x", boot drive "y", load disc "d", ect...) How do I know what EFI I am running to be sure I have gotten it right? How do I even know I have EFI? I guess what it boils down to is... would I be able to have EFI (the real thing) by just installing from this DVD alone and not have to hack any further? sweatyfish
Bump. Does anyone know if the iatkos 2.0i release has the EFI included in it? I only see the EFI for MBR mentioned.
