dvdivx Posted May 18, 2008 Share Posted May 18, 2008 Did an install of Iatkos 2 on a Vostro 1500, was ready to just give up on a hackintosh but this distro is fantastic. Only thing that doesn't work is the sound card, modem and built in card reader. Used NVject for the 8600 and it seems to work. No ktext for Sigmatel I've seen posted here works on my Vostro (one of the last ones, Penryn processor) so I have to try making my own dump. Can use either Fedora 9 or Ubuntu 8.04.
