Asus P5K and Vanderpool?

Hi

I just got OS X (10.5.2 Kalyway) running on ASUS P5K (plain/vanilla P5K!)

The only thing I had to do was to install the NVinject.kext (0.2.1) for my nvidia 8600GT 500MB PCIe.

So beside the missing microphone support (which I substituted with my Webcam) the only issue I have at the moment is the lack of Vanderpool (no vmx flag). As I going to use both Parallels and XEN I really need it to be enabled.

Is there any way known to you to enable it w/o a BIOS entry?

There is none in BIOS!

Now you caught me off-guard.

I'm gonna dig for some specs then.

Thx for your fast reply.

EDIT:

You're right. Looks like I was too long away from Intel.

Switched to Q6600 G0 Stepping and it rocks m8.

Thx again for pointing it out.
