I'm on a very tight budget - probably a maximum of £450, and I'm going to buy a new laptop on hire purchase so I can pay over a long period. I've looked through the HCL, and there's just so much info in there it's hard to see the wood for the trees. Everything seems to have something important not working!!! Can anyone recommend a laptop that works well on osx86. I don't mind if installation is hard work, but I really want it to be stable and working well, to use a my main work computer. If it's at all possible I want to be able to use a second monitor via a vga port, and to have a fairly large screen (eg 17") I really need wireless to work, and I've seen on a lot of things in the HCL that it doesn't....
