trexplorer
Whole disk encryption for Macs is not yet available with TrueCrypt. And when it does become available, it will likely be for EFI real Macs ... Just wondering if anyone has tried encrypting the Mac partition on dual boot Hackintosh with TrueCrypt. For example run the system encryption feature under Windows and have TrueCrypt also encrypt the 2nd Mac Volume ... If it does, You could then boot using the Windows boot-loader, enter your TrueCrypt system password at boot, then select the Mac volume (instead of Windows) thus allowing secure access to your Mac system with "whole disk encryption". Anyone try this ...? Cheers ... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/105227-truecrypt-secure-boot-os-x/ Share on other sites
