Alex Green Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 MY LAPTOP IS COMPAQ V6340EU SPEC BELOW! PS VERY NEW TO THIS ONLY STARTED USING IT A FEW DAYS AGO! WHEN I FIRST INSTALLED IT ON MY LAPTOP EVERYTHING WENT FINE DUEL BOOTED WITH VISTA USING EASYBCD AND WITHOUT THE CD IN! WORKING: SOUND WIFI BUT THEN I WENT TO INSTALL THE BITS FOR NVIDIA GEFORCE GO 6150 AND IT WOULDNT START UP SO I HAD TO DO A FRESH INSTALL THEN AFTER IT WHEN INSTALLED I NOTICED THAT IT HADNT PICKED UP MY WIFI LIKE BEFORE, THE SOUND WAS CRACKLY(WORKED FINE BEFORE) AND WOULD TAKE ABOUT 10 MINS ON THE GREY APPLE SCREEN TO LOAD UP. I DIDNT HAVE TO USE ANY COMMANDS LIKE -V -X -LEGACY OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I DID NOTICE THAT WHEN I BOOT UP THE CD IT DIDNT SHOW UP THE BROADCOM WIRELESS IN THE BUNCH OF WRITING THAT COMES UP WHEN ITS LOADING THE INSTALLER BUT THE BLUETOOTH WAS WORKING FINE! ANY HELP WITH THIS PLEASE! THANKS SO MUCH!
