camaro Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 i have the 10.4.4 install dvd. it said it was bootable so i burned it onto a dvd and put it into my hp laptop. sempron 2800 and i have a ram stick on its way from newegg. right its 256 shared. i did the partition thing id=af. i have xp pro corp on it now. i put the install dvd into it and i get what looks like a linux installer for a sec. then i see a big mac logo. and after a bit of time i just see a small like no smoking kind of logo in the center. any ideas on making this work?
