macusr Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Hello :-) I hope you guys can help me out with something. I installed Kalyway 10.5.1 no problem. But when I restart and boot into the OS, things really start to go slow. It takes about 30 bounces for ichat to open, 35 for safari, and when I type text, i have to wait for it to catch up. radoon Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 I have the same motherboard and I think your problem is about the same as what I had. It's the IDE hard drive. I switched to a SATA drive and it runs MUCH faster (also takes 1/3 the time to install Leopard). Hope that helps you.
