dudeofcube Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Iam using Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd I put the DVD in, reboot to install it, press F8, type -v [return], and it gets to 'still waiting for root device' and hangs. Machine is acer aspire 5100, AMD Turion 64x2 100GB ide Harddisk, 1GB DDR2 memory. Help needed, and appreciated. If you need more specs, let me know. Thanks. HI i have the same machine i try using leo4all and running the following options in the "boot: -s && /sbin/fsck -fy && /sbin/mount -uw && ./options" with this writed like that i can install but wen i repoot the system still sending the message "still waiting for root device" help help i saw some videos with my same model laptop running de osx86 how can get it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
