deba Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Hi All I cant get to my newly installed 10.5.2 Leo4All install. I have one Disk with Windows XP ---> reported as hd0,0 in grub, Ubuntu 8.04 ----> hd0,1 and then mac --> hd0,4 When i try and boot mac it says No such partition. Windows & Ubuntu Seem to boot ok. How can i fix this problem, really don't wanna have to reinstall everything again If you just set Grub to point to your new OSX partition, its not going to work. If your running a Vanilla Kernel then you need pc_efi v8 on your ubuntu disk somewhere, like the /boot/grub folder, and your entry in grub needs to point to that... deba Posted May 15, 2008 Author Share Posted May 15, 2008 Thanks guys, managed to sort it out with in grub:- title Leopard kernel (hd0,1)/boot/boot_v8 and changed the time limit to 1 with the com.apple.boot.plist Seems to be working ok, I'm now using the Leo4Allv3 DVD everything seems to be ok except my audio, i must of choose the wrong drivers so need to find audio kext. Hey even my old iSight camera from my G5 works How do you setup your sig file on this forum?
