Hi, I'm new of OSx86 and I'd like to try OS X because I've never tried it before. So I burned Mac OS X 10.5.1 by Kalyway with K3B 1.0. I red the FAQ and the Hardware Compatiblity List and I red that there are some problem with the IDE CD/DVD readers. So I plugged my USB DVD reader and I booted from the DVD.

My PC is a desktop with the following hardware:

Intel Core2Duo CPU 2.80Ghz (I checked with CPU-Z and my CPU supports both SSE2 and SSE3 instructions)

1GB of RAM (I think DDR2)

nVidia GeForce 7300SE video card with 512MB of VRAM

Sony SDM-E96D LCD monitor

Realtek RTL8139 network card.

Well, firstable I tried with the vanilla kernel (passing also the -v parameter) but my PC restarts while loading some kernel extentions. Then I tried with the standard kernel (passing the -v parameter) and it booted correctly and, after some minutes, it stop at this point: (I will post only the last three lines)

NVDANN40HAL loaded and registered
display: family specific maching family
ACPI_SMC_CtrolLoop - pm(PMIOCSETPSTATETABLE) retourned 0x3b03600

Someone can help me?

PS: I might have made some grammar/spelling mistakes in the post and I'm sorry but I'm Italain
