mitch_de
Hi, suddenly my working Trackpad on ACER 3680 with 10.5.2 didnt worked anymore. Keyboard worked. I reinstalled the PS2 Fixes - No Trackpad. I bootet native Win XP. AHA - also NO Trackpad, but shown in the SystemInfo as MousePS2. ???? Damaged?! (I cleaned the Keyboard / Trackpad before the problem) SOLUTION: I remembered that there are some blue Fn Keys on ACER Keyboard . They work also in OS X (Sound on/of, LCD bright ......). I found an blue Special Key with an Mouse Pointer on it. (F7). Pressed Fn F7 . Trackpad BACK !!! HELL, i was short before to open that ACER. Problem is - that Fn F7 disabling ( i must have used on cleaning) is remembered even if you shut down ! So , if your Trackpad also didnt work , check if there is such an Key to disable/enable the Trackpad.
