shizoman
Have a good day and night. Need your advice, don't know what should i do.. Delete linux partition from ubuntu live cd, and now can't get access to free space in Disk Utility in Leopard. It just show me 200 mb of free space and i can't create or delete partitions. Try boot from dvd with same result. Thank you for advice! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/104422-restoring-partition-map/ Share on other sites
Alessandro17
If I understand correctly you have Leopard installed? Do you have only one HD? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/104422-restoring-partition-map/#findComment-743641 Share on other sites

Alessandro17
So that leaves us only with one non-destructive option (that I know of). Download and burn to CD this Linux distro: http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=04881 Boot from it. See how the situation is. Try to create, in the free space, a partition that OS X can read: HFS+, FAT32 or NTFS. Then boot back into Leopard and tell us what Disk Utility now can see.
