Thade
Yo. I had an annoying video glitch with the Asrock board (wavy lines on left side of display) so I RMAd & ordered and Asus "P5GD1-VM" for a decent price on eBay. As it turns out, I received the /S version of the Asus MB. As far as I can tell the biggest difference is the presence of onboard FW and everything is working well. It took the seller so long to ship this MB that I filed a dispute (zero communication) and ordered an MSI 915GM-FR. Of course the minute I ordered the Asus MB appeared on my doorstep. On the plus side for the Asus MB is the FW but NO OCing options. I'm using a 2.93 GHZ Celeron and I know I can get more out of it The MSI MB lacks FW but has some OCing options and I do have a FW card. I guess I'm looking for input from owners of both although the /S Asus MB is somewhat rare.
