ReDiculum Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 hi there I'm trying to install 10.5.2 kalyway on my desktop pc with a asus a7nx-x mobo and a athlon xp 3000+ (2.2gz) proc. unfortunately I cannot see what error occurs because it reboots imediately after loading the kernel. as I don't know how to explain exactly what happes, I capured a video (the cyan screen has nothing todo with the installation, it's the monitors hint which means to have no signal. this indicates a reboot) FYI: I got this effect on all the following versions: - 10.5.2 Kalyway - 10.5.2 JaS - 10.4.9 Uphuck - 10.4.8 JaS -v, -x, -y, -f, cpus=1. all this options have no effect. it still reboots. last question. whats is this "vanilla" about? everyone says "just type vanilla", but this has no effect at my boot. see video aswell. if someone has the same experience and solved that, please reply! thanks in advise. greetz from switzerland Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
