Odd Optical Drive (CD/DVD) issue with Zepherioth 10.5.2

Hello all,

I am currently running Zepherioth 10.5.2 rev2 and so far everything is working well in general.

 

Hardware:

EVGA 8600 GT 256 MB (QE/CI working with Nvinject 0.41 patch)

AMD X2 3600+ overclocked to 2.4ghz

4 gb of HP 667 ddr 2 RAM (P/N: PX976AT)

Motherboard:GA-MA69GM-S2H Rev 1.0

Northbridge: AMD 690G (integrated graphics booted, but no CI/QE)

Southbridge: ATI SB600 with SB600kexts

Onboard sound: Realtek ALC889A working with ALC889A kexts

Onboard ethernet: Realtek RTL8110 Gigabit Ethernet working OOB

Maxtor Diamondmax 160gb SATA 7200 rpm drive - Sata Port 1

Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-212D - Sata Port 3

M13 PS/2 IBM keyboard (functions as mouse and kb)

Sleep is even working fine with patched kernel from NVinject installer.

 

Interestingly my hackintosh will mount dvds or whatever upon boot. However after I eject the disk (either in osx or using the drive eject button) I cannot get a disk to remount. So far I have tried switching the SATA controller from AHCI mode to Native IDE mode, but this has the same results. So far attempting to sleep and then have it recognize the disk have failed as well. I am guessing that I may have to move the sata cable to position two, but OSX recognizes my drive fine. Any hints or other suggestions?

 

As an aside I do not have working USB, but I assume that is due to the use of PS2 keyboard (fixed by getting a ps2 to usb adapter easily enough).
