bajabug72 Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 i did the install walkthru i found here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=75295 everything OS related seems to be working fine and dandy because i have gotten into a working booted GUI, but i had to boot off of the dvd. it just sits there and flashes the cursor if i disable CD boot in bios or simply remove the DVD. with the DVD in it, it goes right thru and boots up quite quickly. ive done everything that i could find in above linked walkthru, and i know as well as i am sitting in this seat that i set it to be a MBR partition. ive had uphuck 10.4.9 running beautifully on this same exact hardware for i dont know how long. am i missing something thats screaming in my face?? any help is appreciated, bajabug72 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/104120-toh-rc2-on-gigabyte-board-socket-775-p4-30/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
