toolshed Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I got my 8800GS installed, following video updates, NVinject, on kalyway 10.5.2 Generally, the system is working OK. I've just switched my old Philips 17" monitor for a 24" Dell. But in either case, when I go to System Preferences/Displays, and try to select a different resolution, I get the blue screen. I could live with 1024x768 on the 17", but not the 24" Any and all help gratefully appreciated! toolshed Posted May 9, 2008 Author Share Posted May 9, 2008 OK, maybe. I selected screen refresh to be 75MHz, it went blank/blue. So I plugged the monitor into the other DVI port on my 8800GS. Voila - sweet 1920 x 1200 screen! Just need to resize my browser text...
