biohare Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I have a notebook, in the internal hard drive there is installed vista, in the extenal i have installed xp, leo4all, and last linux. Grub have find vista, xp, and linux but not osx. All three os start normaly, now I try to insert osx under grub. I have read some topic and undestand this: title OSX hd (1,7) <---- this is in my case chainloader +1 (if it dosen't work use "/etc/chain0") ok, at this point when i try to start grub tell me "error 17" in the internet manual of grub i hare read this: 17 : Cannot mount selected partition This error is returned if the partition requested exists, but the filesystem type cannot be recognized by GRUB. Now what I have to do?
