Hi all,

I have followed many of the awesome guides on this forum to finally (and almost succesfully) install OSX Leopard 10.5.2 (kalyway) on to my alienware m15x

The install is a breeze with no apparent hiccups.

The system reboots and goes into darwin which takes me into the leopard intro video

Then it asks me for my keyboard and language etc and finally comes to the "Do you already own a Mac" screen for settings migration.

I click "DO not transfer my information now"

when i click continue, the system waits for a while and then takes me back to the leopard intro video again...

Please help! Im so near... and yet so far :gun: from a working OSx86 install

Thanks!

Depending on which Distro you loaded, most of them have "Kext Helper" in the applications Directory, open it. just drag the file onto it, type your admin password and install, then reboot,!

at most, sometimes you have to repair permissions in Disk utilities, but this is not often

SticMAN

ok got it to work :)

Had to manually create a root account but it works now.

The next challenge - adding kexts. ANy idea how to do that?

Thanks!
