Faux Carnival
I've just downloaded "Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.4.X86-HOTiSO". But I have some concerns about this... First of all I have an nForce 3 Ultra motherboard and I am using a SATA hard disk drive. I have Windows XP installed and I have another empty partition. I have several questions? 1) Is Mac OS X (x86) installation just like a Windows XP installation? Boot from CD/DVD and install? 2) Will I have problems with drivers? 3) Does this "Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.4.X86-HOTiSO" release need to be patched or something? 4) What kind of problems else might I experience? Thanks in advance... By the way, this is the picture of the release I downloaded... hobolooter
1. In theory, yes. Practically speaking, far from it. 2. You provided two components of your machine, if you want a serious answer provide more details. 3. Read maxxuss website for detailed instructions, you will have to obtain a .dmg file. I have no idea what kind of file that is. I'm guessing an ISO. 4. The forum has a plethora of what you just asked.
