t3hi3x
I have an Asus m2n-sli delux. I have two SATA drives installed with only an IDE optical drive. I notice when I boot my installer disks, I boots "AppleNForceATA" and thus enables my SATA drives; however, when I install the OS to the drive, it doesn't find the controller and does the classic "waiting for root device" {censored}. My question is: is there a way I can install the kext to the kernel so that I can boot this sucker from SATA? if it comes down to it, I will get an IDE hdd to install it on, but I would like to avoid it.
