bp9129 Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Ok so I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 I finished the installation and rebooted. I got the grey apple screen then the screen just turns purple. I can hear the welcome music, but I can't see the video. Graphics card is Intel GM965. I'm using a Sony Vaio VGN-CR220E if that matters. gthanson Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I have the exact same laptop as you (Sony Vaio VGN-CR220E), and the exact same problem. Weird purple screen after install completes and right where the intro movie should play. I can hear it in the background too. Booting into safe mode doesn't help, and since the purple screen comes up and fades to black after the first reboot, I can't configure my install. I'm stuck. Any help would be fantastic, thanks.
