jbloggs
Now that I have the basic Kalyway 10.5.2 installed, I would like some of the other things working: 1) My Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter in not working, How can get that working so that I can connect to the Internet? 2) Audio is not working, I have Builtin Audio card in the Dell 9200 with "Stigmatel HD Audio codec/driver". 3) My graphic card is the NVidia GeForce 7900GS is capable of higher resolution (1680x1050) than what osx86 is allowing which is 1024x768, anyway to get higher resolution? I think if I can these three things working, well 1 & 2 are really the priority, but it would be great to have 3 working, I'll be set. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Jack Zhou
Look for drivers in the hardware forum. If they don't have it, you can try the manufacturers' website. And if THEY don't have it, there's no way to get it working short of writing your own drivers. justgeeking
HMM Dell are funny machines somewhat tricky your resolution should go higher if your monitor supports if its a laptop maybe? thats questionable the THE PCI might work i know firewire cards do but you wireless pci card might need drivers but i doubt if it will werk cause the new macs killed off pci cards and if needs drivers i doubt it will work try useing a a usb one try using that sigmatel or azalia then reboot see if it works Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/103436-successfully-installed-kalyway1052-but-few-things-not-working/#findComment-736845 Share on other sites
