x86newbie Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hello, I just installed Kaly 10.5.2/vanilla on a badaxe 2. Sleep even works now! The only problem is that when the machine wakes up the video card fan will not stop going full bore. This is a 7900 GS card. Anyone know a fix for this issue? Thanks. isotome Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 I also have a 7900GS on a Bad Axe 2 board. I replaced the onboard fan with a silent passive heatsink. The Thermalright HR-01 or the newer IFX-14 can cool even hot cards. I have had NO cooling problems with my 790GS using fanless heatsinks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
