Is it possible to install the update package from either apple (apple security only ?) , or psystar (updates psystar), without breaking an hackintosh ? I mean , this is not a system update , but only seems to be all security updates in one package. Same question for the java 1.6 package ? 2nd question Since I have this toh ( Mac OS X 10.5 (9A581) Darwin 9.0.0 ) , which way is appropriate to update ? Either security updates , OR , update to 10.5.2 ? Will the kalyway combo update work on a toh ? I read this combo has not yet been tested from a 10.5.0 , SO ; how to update from my 10.5.0 to 10.5.1 ? Sorry if this has already been answered , please don't burn my firewall , but show me the links !! bobitavu Posted May 5, 2008 Author Share Posted May 5, 2008 What I've done so far : installed the kalyway combo update 10.5.2 , and only this package , no change of kernel. After that ( I did no script , nothing else than the package ) , I rebooted , the first attempt resulted as a blue screen ... and nothing else ! Second reboot , ok I have leopard 10.5.2 , still darwin 9.0.0 .
