Hi, I'm a newbie to Mac so please bare with me!

I've got XP and Vista dual boot at the moment (seperate drives using EasyBCD) and want to have Mac OS X too.

I've got a couple of versions of OsX (burned on DVD+R @ 4x), and not sure which to use. I've got Kalyway 10.5.2 & Jas OSX86 10.5.2, does it matter?

I've partitioned the drive with XP on it and allocated 40Gb for OsX. I created it using 'Diskpart' in Vista and used the id=af which I believe makes the partition hfs+ compatible, is that it, do I need to do anything else to it?

When I boot up OsX in the DVD drive how do I point it to the partion to install there?

Any help is very welcome, thanks.

JaS is still in beta. Try it after you get things working. Kalyway is a tiny bit outdated. The most recent release was Leo4Allv3. I've had much luck with that.

It is better to have a separate primary partition for OS X marked as active so the installer doesn't overwrite your Vista bootloader (it's a pain in the ass getting it back).

And I'm not sure what you mean by your last question.

Oh, and um, good luck with nForce.
