Hi

I have a Hackintosh with Kalyway Leopard 10.5.1. I was wondering whether I can install anything using software update?

I have quite a lot of updates available such as:

Mac OS X Update to 10.5.2

Front Row Update

AirPort Utility

iTunes

Plugin Manager

iLife Support

Canon Printer Driver updates

Remote Desktop Client

Can I install any?

Thanks

You must be very careful when installing updates from Software Update, some of the updates will break your hackintosh installation, which may require you to reinstall your OS. The 10.5.2 update would most likely break your system unless you follow precise installation instructions. Before installing any update from Software Update, you should search InsanelyMac first to find out if the update is safe to install on your particular version of Leopard. You must be very careful when installing updates from Software Update, some of the updates will break your hackintosh installation, which may require you to reinstall your OS.
