yan.kun
Hi! I'm happy owning a MacBook and tried following method to install OS X for my PC. I attached a 320 GB Harddrive to USB, installed OS X on it and afterwards applyed EFI Patch and inserted all kexts from the EFI Package. If I attach the HDD now to my PC and try to boot it, i get immeditaly a kernel panic wich says, that no system driver for ACPI was found. What should I do? The ACPI kext is in the right folder... do I miss something? SticMAC™
there is an older ACPIxxxxx.kext you need to put in, you should find it if you search for that kind of error! it has happened to other people too! so you should be able to fix it! yan.kun
Thank you! That was easier than I thought. Installed EFI Patch, OS X, 10.5.2 Update, removed 2 kexts, put 3 new in, and voila, its running.
