gmouse
I just installed OSX 10.4.4 (amd version) on an Asrock K8NF4G-SATA2 board with a Sempron64 2800+ (Palermo core, SSE3 is supported). The installation went very well, no errors whatsoever. At the first boot, I see the bootloader, press [return], and wait until the GUI comes up. As soon as it comes up, I see a mouse pointer which changes to a colorful circle. Shortly after that, the GUI quits and I see some text in the console about Crashreporter and Setup Assistant, then the GUI starts again, console, GUI, console, endless loop, etc. I managed to boot in single user mode to locate the errorfile. I couldn't copy it to my Windows drive so I could paste it here, but I noted down the two (I think) most two errorlines: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) KERN_INVALID_ID_ACCESS (0x0001) at 0x992968c0 Any idea's on this? gmouse
I was hoping for a better reply, but yeah you're right. Are you ever satisfied? I just solved the problem. Booted into single user mode, remounted the root to read-write mode, and applied the patch. The patch was found in a folder in the root. Onboard networkadapter is still not working, but at least it boots now. hobolooter
Hey gmouse, that reply was made in error. You may have noticed I have a similar post made about no GUI, and reading "Titlefix: it's about OS 10.4.4." you can see why I posted that reply. My bad since this isn't my post.
