drunknbass Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 for some reason this install of leo seems messed up in regards to the root user. i think i might have made 2 admins and deleted one when i first got the os up and running because of time machine restore hanging on installation.. anyway. the issue now is if i try to install an app like pref pane or screen saver or anything that asks if you want to install for the whole system, or just this user, will not install correctly for the system. i enter the root pw corct but it always ends up failing on the install, but it will install for the single user. i think something somewhere is currupted but never had this issue before.. and i know my root pw is fine.. i use bash 24/7 so id know if it was wrong Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
