jskripka
Hello everyone. First off I am a 10th grade (16yo) student at a vocational tech school, certified in A+ and network+, I have a large knowlage of pc's however mac is a blur right now. I currently have a Dell Inspiron 1150, pentum 4, 768mb ram, 40gb hdd, and intel integrated 855gm video. I have tried to install numerous versions of mac os x86 such as 10.4.8, 10.4.6, and finally 10.4.1(which is supposidly compatible with my video card), I was able to obtain everything except drivers for my video, I have become a champion at reading the text threw the fuzzy grey and white screen! I need to know if someone can farther explain the install of these kext files and how to properly do this. I have downloaded the following kexts from a site: appleintel830.kext , appleintegratedgraphics.kext , appleintel830GA.plugin , appleintel830GLdriver.bundle . Please help! Thanks. Hagar
see if you can increase the vram in bios, this will at least give you sensible colours rather than that lovely "4-bit greyscale" you're suffering now.
