xaq
Well i've done about as much searching as I can figure but this is all a little new to me, well acquainted with OSX, windows and about 10 linux distros - so don't give me any kid gloves ;P I've tried using all the ATI.kexts of of the DVD, according to the HCL the t60p i am installing on is compatible using the ATIRadeonX1000.kext and adding a device id in the info.plist, i've done this - but when i look at my display settings it says... Display: Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x71d4 Revision ID: 0x0000 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Which to me would indicate that it pretty much isn't doing anything? I have a 30" monitor so my preferred resolution is 2560x1600 but anything widescreen will work 1680x1050 of 1440x900, whatever is a good start... can anyone point me in the right direction for how to properly install graphics drivers (Because I am assuming the ones I've copied to /System/Library/Extensions aren't actually doing anything?) Other than that, everything appears to be working mostly OOB, including BT Peace - X Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102352-ati-x1000-fire-gl-5200-cant-get-it-to-work-leo4allv3/ Share on other sites
