Opes
Hello everyone, I installed Kalyway on my computer for a few days, had some troubles but got most of them fixed. When i connect my iPod (5.5g) to my Hackintosh, it opens up iTunes and gives me this message: An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again. If the problem persist, reinstall the iPod Support software from Optional Installs on the Mac OS X install disc. I have tried disconnecting it and connecting it again few times, but it will give me the same message. It works on other computers. Any suggestions on how i could get this to work? Got it working by installing the iPod Support from Optional Installs on the Mac OS X install disc . kai920
I have the same issue: What I don't understand is that I need to reinstall the iPod Support from Optional Installs multiple times. It seems I have to do it every time I reboot? Someone has the same problem here, but I am already running iTunes 8 + 10.5.5. I installed using Kalyway 10.5.2 I believe.
