Blair78 Posted February 26, 2006 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Now that I have OSx86 installed, I'm having a problem with my Audio. I have already searched through the forum to see if I could find an immediate answer to my problem but came up empty handed. I'm 99.9% positive that my onboard audio controller is an ALC or AC97 compliant controller, however I cant seem to load the specific drivers. In the System Profilier under the Audio (Built-in) properties, it shows: No Information Found. So the next thing I did was open a terminal window (sudo -s) then I loaded the AppleAC97Audio.kext file. (kextload -t file.kext) which then said it had suceeded. However I still have no sound. Any thoughts ?? Thanks in advance. Blair.
