hi all,

ihave successfully installed the kalyway 10.5.2. on my desktop. i have hanging around to understand which kernel is better to use. i know, it's a matter of hardware...in my first installations i used the sleep kernel 9.2 but discovered that usb hotplug didnt work ( i had to to plut my usb pendrive before powering the pc,otherwise osx didint recognize it). then i tried the kabyl kernel which finely supports usb hot plug but seems to have some issues with powering off.

sleep mode seems to work in both kernels but, with kabyl kernel, power off requires to push the power button, pc does not power down itself.

my specs: asus p5kc - intel C2D e6750 2,66 mhz - ram 6 gb 800 mhz - sata 150 hd - sata pioneer dvd - ati radeon 2600 hd club -kalyway 10.5.2

p.s. just one more question: i dont know how sleep mode exactly works....if i turn on the pc without opening any app, sleep mode works fine..if i open some apps, i.e. photoshop, work with some image and then close them but leave the app running, sleep mode does not work, only the display goes in standby mode. also if i hang around in osx and leave something running, sleep mode does not work....

any help??? thanks to all+
