Snell
Hello, I have a 10.5.2 box connected to Active Directory (Bonjour is disabled), and aside from one problem everything is working perfectly. There are 5 other boxes on the network, 3 of which are XP, 1 is a Win2k server, and the last is Linux running Samba 3. I can transfer files from 2 of the XP machines with no problem, but transferring from the last XP machine, the Win2k server, and the Linux machine is incredibly slow (90kb/s). This is includes SMB, CIFS, FTP, and HTTP file transfers. I'm pretty new to Macs in general, so I'm not sure where to start diagnosing the problem. Can anyone help? Snell
For anyone in the future with the same problem... I ended up reinstalling with a different network card and the problems went away (originally had a D-Link, upgraded to a NetGear). I'm not sure what caused it, but it could have been anything from ViaRhine drivers to getting rid of Bonjour. Hope it helps someone!
