rickatnight11
I'm now trying to put Leopard on my laptop which has the following specs: Uniwill 258KA0 Laptop AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.8ghz 1GB RAM 60GB HD Whenever I boot from the Leo4Allv3 DVD it gets through all the lines of text, loads a white screen with a grey apple logo, but then the screen greys and an error about restarting my computer comes up. I have tried loading with the "-v" switch, but it just sits at the "Kernel Loading: Darwin Kernel" line. Is my laptop suited for Leopard, or am I doing something wrong? rickatnight11
So, any ideas? Sorry to bump, but it's been a while with no responses Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102225-dvd-boot-error/#findComment-760326 Share on other sites
rickatnight11
I just tried to boot from Kalyway's 10.5.2 DVD, and it gets stuck after listing the Kernel version. I'm guessing this has to do with an incompatibility with one of the components of my laptop. Any idea what could be causing it? It has a Mobility Radeon 9700/9600 if that helps. I can list any hardware if necessary. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102225-dvd-boot-error/#findComment-762705 Share on other sites
