cottonswab Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 when you boot and get the screen that counts down to allow you to enter command line options. Hit enter and add the following : -v -x cpus=1 then see if that gets you in. When you've made it you'll need to download Kalyway's 10.5.2 combo update and apply that to fix the CPU=1 so that it can recognize the multicore and you don't have to keep typing it in each time you boot. Oh yeah the -v is just so you can see what's happening during boot so you don't have to have that.
